Apple Park Event
The Apple Park Event was full of surprises as the company presented the new iPhone 15 series along with several technological announcements and jam-packed celebrity appearances, one of them being, PV Sindhu.
Globally known Indian Badminton Star PV Sindhu met Apple CEO Tim Cook in Apple Park during the mega event in Cupertino, California. Sindhu posted a picture about her experience on Instagram and conveyed gratitude to Tim for inviting her to tour Apple Park and witness the mega-announcement.
Sindhu in her Instagram post wrote, “An unforgettable moment meeting Tim Cook on keynote day at Apple Cupertino! Thank you for having me, Tim. It was a pleasure to see the stunning Apple Park and to meet you!”
She also added, “I will gladly take you up on the offer to play badminton when you visit India next.” A hint already indicating Tim’s next meet in India to be on the pitch against Sindhu and her magnificent Badminton domain.

However, Apple has announced that you can now pre-order iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro variants from tomorrow, September 15. The supply of the devices shall commence on September 22, 2023.
iPhone 15 Price
The price of the iPhone 15 is ₹79,000 in India and the price of the iPhone 15 Plus is ₹89,900 in India. Both variants are available to buy in four colors with distinct storage sizes varying from 128 GB, 256 GB, to 512 GB.
The price of the iPhone 15 Pro is ₹1,34,900 in India and the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is ₹1,59,900 in India. Both variants are available to buy in four colors and feature storage options of up to 1 TB.
All iPhone 15 variants will be listed for pre-orders on September 15 and the initial rolling out of the device shall commence from September 22. Meanwhile, there also happened a huge price drop in the now older series of iPhones.
Apple iPhone Mega Price Drop
The prices of iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, and iPhone 13 have dropped significantly in India. It has been generational of the company dropping the pricing of older generations as it launches a new generation of the iPhone series but this time it’s huge.
Apple has also stopped the selling of iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13 Mini, and several alterations are in progress. The new price tags of the devices are available on Apple’s online store and you can also check the prices on Amazon, Flipkart, and other online stores.

The price of the iPhone 14 is ₹69,990 for the base variant with 128 GB storage. The initial pricing of this variant during its launch was ₹79,900.
iPhone 14 Plus Price in India: Updated September 2023
The price of the iPhone 14 Plus is ₹79,900 in India. The initial pricing of the variant during its launch was ₹89,900. Meanwhile, Apple announced that it is ready to give up to ₹67,800 off if users are willing to trade in their old iPhones (limited) for an iPhone 14 series.

iPhone 13 Price in India: Updated September 2023
The price of the iPhone 13 is ₹59,900 in India. The initial pricing of the variant during its official launch was ₹79,900, and last year during the iPhone 14 launch, its price was reduced to ₹69,900. Apple announced users to get the same trade-in incentive as mentioned above.

iPhone 15 Series Specification & Feature
Apple has officially dumped its lightning connector and has adopted a USB Type-C port. The company has not provided battery specifications yet but did mention that the iPhone 15 is capable of 20 hours of video playback and the iPhone 15 Plus with 26 hours of video playback on a single charge.

iPhone 15 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED Display protected by a built-in ceramic shield. The new display is also able to capture 2000 nits of screen brightness. Apple has also inserted Dynamic Island in this standard model, as promised.
The standard variant features a rear dual-camera module with specifications 48-megapixel sensor and f/1.6 aperture with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/1.6 aperture. The front camera on standard variants features a 12-megapixel TrueDepth camera.

iPhone 15 Plus Specification & Feature
iPhone 15 Plus features a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED Display and all other features mentioned above as the base variant of iPhone 15. iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are the standard variants of the series and both consist of Apple’s A16 bionic chipset.

iPhone 15 Pro Specification & Feature
iPhone 15 Pro features a 6.1-inch rounded Super Retina Display XDR similar to the base variants and is protected by a ceramic shield. The new display is also able to capture 2000 nits of screen brightness with IP68 under IEC standard 60529 water & dust resistance.
The Pro variant features a new 3nm A17 Pro Chipset with 6 Core GPU which the company claims to increase the device’s performance by 10% while providing up to three times the efficiency. The new device is lightweight and is built of Grade 5 Titanium with an aluminum substructure.
The Pro variant specifications include a triple camera module with a 48MP rear camera setup featuring a 3x Telephoto Lens and Ultra Wide Camera. The device also features a strong battery life with 29 hours of video playback.

iPhone 15 Pro Max Specification & Feature
iPhone 15 Pro Max features a 6.7-inch rounded Super Retina Display XDR similar to the base variants and is protected by a ceramic shield. The new display is also able to capture 2000 nits of screen brightness with IP68 under IEC standard 60529 water & dust resistance.
The device specifications include a triple camera module with a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.78 aperture along with a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The third sensor with 12-megapixel 5x telephoto lens.

iPhone 15 Modification
Apple revealed a modified body for the pro variants with a unique side button that can be customized with a specific function. The new “Action Button” can be configured to activate the camera, turn off Flash, start a voice memo, open notes, switch focus settings, and execute your customized shortcuts.
The new Action Button also default flips the iPhone between ring and vibration mode. It is located on the side and is one of the visible modifications by Apple to its iPhone along with the new USB-C port introduction in the device’s bottom.

Made in India iPhone 15 Production
Following the major success of the previous generational iPhones in India, the company now plans to create iPhone 15 Plus locally in India for the next quarter. The iPhone 15 Plus shall be manufactured at Foxconn’s plant in Chennai.
Apple also hopes to triple its sales in India in the upcoming quarter by introducing new iPhone models by lowering its prices on existing models which might help the company make possible a record-breaking quarter of its business in India.
Apple has commenced the iPhone 15’s commercial manufacturing at the Foxconn factory in India and this is the first time an iPhone shall get issued with a "Made in India" tag at the initial launch stage.
