Windows 11 S Mode
Windows 11 S Mode is a new way to use Windows that offers the best of both worlds: security and performance. It’s for people who want the best of Windows 10 in a more secure environment but also want to take advantage of modern features like drag-and-drop or touch support.
S Mode works by isolating apps from each other and from the operating system itself, so they can't see other running apps or files on your computer. This means that when you're using S Mode, you won't have access to all your files—only those stored locally on your PC or device (like photos). In addition, any running apps will also be isolated from each other and any external devices (like printers).
Dark Mode
The dark mode is a new feature in Windows 11. It will make it easier to use your computer at night when the lights are on, and you're trying to work without distractions (and maybe even without any light).
Windows 10 introduced dark mode for the Start menu and taskbar, with other apps, such as Edge, added later. In Windows 10, dark modes were available only for theming purposes—they didn't affect how you interacted with your PC or its content—but now that we've got dark mode built into the operating system itself, this means users won't have to download additional themes or wallpapers anymore!
For example: if you want an app like OneDrive or Outlook Mail Plus installed on "Dark Mode" (which means no background image), just click "Use Dark Mode" from within these programs' settings menus; then, when logged in as yourself (or another user account), everything will look exactly how it should: black text against white backgrounds instead of white text against black backgrounds like before!
New UI
Windows 11 is introducing a new user interface, which is more modern and sleek than the previous one. It has a better search feature, a start menu, and a taskbar.
Sharper Windows Defender
Windows Defender is free antivirus software with Windows 11, the only antivirus software in Windows 11. It will protect your computer against malware and viruses automatically.
Windows Defender is not as good as other paid antivirus software such as Norton Antivirus or Malwarebytes, but it does provide basic protection against most threats.
Split-screen view
The split-screen view is one of the most requested Windows 11 features. It allows you to run two apps side by side, so you can compare two documents or websites while watching a video.
You can use it in a variety of ways:
- Compare two documents or websites and look at them both at once.
- Watch videos while working on something else, such as writing notes or creating spreadsheet data.
Emoji panel and clipboard history
The Emoji panel and clipboard history features are available in all Windows 11, including Home, Pro, Enterprise, and Education. With these new features, you'll quickly access your device's most frequently used emojis - great for communication with friends or family members!
Bluetooth pairing feature
Bluetooth pairing is the process of two devices connecting over Bluetooth. It's a secure way of connecting two devices, allowing you to connect to devices without entering a password or PIN code.
When you pair your phone with another device, it will automatically appear in the list of Bluetooth devices on your computer or tablet (or vice versa).
You can then use them as if they were connected directly through wires—for example:
- Sending files from one device to another
- Enjoying streaming music from one device while listening on headphones
Better keyboard navigation
The keyboard is getting a lot of improvements with Windows 11.
The clipboard history feature has been improved and now includes the ability to view all items copied to your clipboard since you last closed Chrome.
The emoji panel will now display more than just smileys and emojis; it also includes punctuation marks like question marks and exclamation points and symbols like arrows, squares, dollar signs, and curly braces. Use Microsoft Edge instead of Internet Explorer. This might be useful for you because those are not available on other browsers yet but can be found by right-clicking on a word in Edge’s word processor window (or pressing Ctrl + Shift + W).
Power Throttling
Power Throttling is a new Windows 11 that helps save battery life. It works with Intel processors, and you can enable or disable it by going to Settings > System > Battery saver menu.
All the good things are coming to Windows 11
Windows 11 will be introducing many new features and improvements. These include:
- The dark mode is a new look for the operating system that makes reading text on your PC or laptop easier.
- S mode (for “Snap”) lets you put two applications side-by-side in a window, so you can use one while looking at another app on the screen. This feature is particularly useful when working with large spreadsheets or documents that take up most of your screen space. You'll also be able to snap together multiple apps into one single window without losing any functionality from any individual application – instead, everything goes together seamlessly like an album cover!
Conclusion
As we can see, Windows 11 is a major update that will bring many new features to the operating system. We can expect to see more updates over time, and hopefully, they will continue to build on these features to keep users engaged with their computers.
