London-based smartphone company Nothing announced a massive expansion in its product range as it introduced a sub-brand titled CMF by Nothing, its first-ever smartwatch.

Carl Pei, CEO, and Co-founder of Nothing announced a massive portfolio expansion by setting its footstep in the smartwatch sector by introducing CMF by Nothing, its first-ever smartwatch entry with the aim of creating "better design and more accessible" devices.

The company is all set to release its first product line later this year. The first of its product line will include a smartwatch and earbud which itself portrays massive developmental plans being discussed internally within the company.

The announcement was made in a Nothing Community Update on YouTube by CEO Carl Pei which mentioned that the entire perception of Nothing itself is for creating tech a fun element which we all can agree based on its overall experience.

The company previously focused solely on smartphones since it would be a wise call to get itself known to the market with a minimum of products to focus and now that the company is known worldwide, it sure is the right time to divulge in other sectors and spread its wings.

Several Nothing enthusiasts have been calling the company for being diverse and analyzing the movements, the company is certainly launching new avenues at the right time with calculated research.

We have all witnessed the performance, compatibility, and built-quality it has delivered in the past couple of years and we can certainly stay soft and positive to the fact that it can provide and deliver a good and impactful product.

Carl stretched his view over the current marketing expressing that currently there aren't any exciting brands in the segment nor the running brands providing an impactful value-for-money product.

With Nothing, he is aiming for creating a new outcome, if possible a new avenue in the sector, and change the game of design with quality like it did with smartphones. However, he mentioned that Nothing and CMF by Nothing will solely be separate brands.

He stretched that for ensuring there comes no distraction from its core product "smartphone" and specifically focusing on innovation. He continued that the main company will provide "premium" products that will be delivered with high-end components and powerful performance.

CMF by Nothing will focus on "clean" and "timeless" design and concept. Most important of all, the pricing is set to be accessible so that all sector people can access and experience the Nothing ecosystem.

He also continued stating CMF will focus on quality which is something that is very rarely found in accessible products in the market. It is good that CMF by Nothing is running a separate team for the production of its new product line.

Carl also commented that more details about the smartwatch and earbuds will be given shortly in the coming months and there are several or rather tons of teasers too which is tempting already.

  • Nothing Phone 2

Moreover, the Glyph Composer makes it accessible for users of Nothing Phone 1 and Nothing Phone 2 for creating their own Glyph Ringtone with a sequence of sounds and fancy corresponding lights on its back side.

Nothing previously launched its second-gen flagship smartphone "Nothing Phone 2" last month which comes with a new Glyph Interface giving it a futuristic outlook and a heads-turning interface.

The device also comes with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform, 50MP dual rear camera with a 6.7 inch OLED display which itself is mesmerizing and led its mark as a household brand within the smartphone sector.
