Microsoft and Meta announced a partnership to bring Office 365 apps to the Metaverse. With this update, all Office 365 applications have been updated to include new functionality that allows users in different locations around the world to collaborate on documents and get real-time updates on file changes. These new features are available today at no additional cost for existing customers of Microsoft's cloud services across both Windows® 10 PCs/Macs or mobile devices running iOS 9+ or Android 5+.
We have been working closely with Microsoft to ensure that the solutions we introduce today work seamlessly with all of the Office 365 products. At launch, you can download Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for free from the Meta App Store-but that's just the beginning.
